Smooth; or, the banana considered as a fulcrum for life-altering motion
This is, just about, pre-slash. By several seconds.
Summary? Oh, all right. It's twelve days till Blair starts at the Academy, and the clue bus is waiting at the gate.
My first completed Sentinel story. It's a GEN story, first posted to the Sentinelangst list.
Summary: well, there's a villain, an unusual use of Jim's senses, a bit of Jim-and-Blair in peril - oh, and a bottle of Tallisker.
Now don't laugh, but this is a Sentinel/seaQuest crossover! Well, think about it: Jim and Blair are roughly 30 and 40 respectively in the late 1990s... so they will be in their sixties and seventies when Lucas Wolanczek from the seaQuest crew is a twenty year old ensign in the year 2032...
Now, who remembers David Lash? Well the same actor played the UEO ambassador to Tartarus Colony in 2032... what if they were the same person?
Summary: If you were Lee Brackett, and you were being pursued by an implacable killer, and you saw a road-sign that said "Cascade", well, what would you do?
Summary: Bugg is back, and this time he has arranged for some subcontractors to kidnap Blair. But what does he want? And, even if he gets it, will that be enough?
Summary: Jim wakes up in an oven. But there is worse to come: someone has decided Jim and Blair are going to burn... but first...(Warning: attempted rape story)
Summary: a hitman is in Cascade, a hitman who works by remote control, using involuntary subcontractors. And everyone knows Cascade's finest includes a Cop of the Year partnered with a man who might as well have a hostages'R'us poster stapled to his back...
Summary: Kincaid is in a federal prison. But he still has followers, and they have a plan to get him out...a plan which begins with persuading Jim's father to join them, in arranging the kidnap of his own son...
Blair in Peril. With Ice Cream
Summary: Blair in Peril... what, you needed more? Written in an experimental style which may not be to all tastes.
WARNING WARNING WARNING: This story is quite unlike the others on this page (It's closer to the Ares/Joxer stories on the Hercules page) It's SLASH, it's a RAPE story, and it's a CROSSOVER. It's very dark and You Have Been Warned!!! Summary: Just another working stiff, doing a job... but when your job is as muscle for the Consortium, and you have no limits, no ethics and no morals... and someone tells you to go to Cascade and pick up the curly haired guy...why not have a little fun along the way?
Summary: a crossover with the comedy series, Dharma and Greg. An old friend of Blair's is in town along with her lawyer husband. But when Greg is mistaken for Jim and kidnapped along with Blair, will Dharma be able to help Jim with the floopiness of his aura in time to save the day?
Summary: kind of an X files crossover, perhaps, and a sequel to the story Bagpipe above, which you probably need to read first. Alex returns... or does he? And this time Major Crimes pays the price big time, as Blair, Jim, Brown and Rafe all come to various kinds of harm. NC17. [Note: this story is also a July 2000 themefic for the Sentinel Angst list]
Summary: after the dissertation disaster, Blair became an author, writing a book on Lash and then on Serial Killers in general. But becoming the Muse of Serial Killers is no way for a shaman to live... if he can stay alive at all. Based loosely on the Holly Hunter movie Copycat.
Summary: Jim recognises the danger signs when he finds Blair singing along to Bohemian Rhapsody in the loft. But on the other hand, he has to agree that there are good reasons why Blair might feel a little... ambivalent about New Years celebrations, after what happened to him in 2000...
Summary: Jim knows he's in trouble when Big Bird comes to sit on the end of his bed.
Summary: Why did Sandburg wake up naked in a holding cell surrounded by green knees?
Freestanding snippets with a common theme (Warning: partner betrayal, of a sort)
A sideways look at our favourite anthropologist...
Summary: AU: there's a new player in town, and when one of Major Crimes goes undercover, he finds out that this crimelord is stranger than anyone has imagined...
Summary: I once wrote a pre-slash story called "Smooth". It bothered me for months that it wasn't a slash story at all. This is the gen version...
Summary: Rafe is in trouble: big trouble. But the bullet that hit him did more damage than he could guess.
Summary: Daryl and Blair are at the Police Academy. But why is Daryl failing in the simulation exercises?
Summary: Jim is a prisoner of someone out for revenge. The guys know where he is: but can they rescue him before it's too late?.
Summary: "Gone! And never called me Mother!" Why is Jim listening to quotations from nineteenth century melodrama? And will badly sung Whitney Houston covers save the day?
Summary: seen the movie "Swordfish"? Well, this is the Sentinel version!.
Summary: Naomi's past threatens Blair's future
